Phoenix loves to fly horizontally and vertically and came to us after our loss of our beloved Kelpie Molly and rekindled our broken hearts. Her rescue was a group effort in the flyball community after the loss of molly when word got out that there was a Kelpie mix in the San Diego pound, Val from Lickety Splits went to check her out on our behalf and returned with a rave report. Then Pam Beane went with her girls to see how she was with children and again returned with a rave report. Pam adopted her for us and drove her to Barstow were she met with us to pick her up.
Phoenix is also a fearless Disc Competitor with 1st place ribbons and trophy’s in UFO and USDDN. She competes at Pro level in Toss’n’Fetch and Open level in Freestyle. She has even earned a frisbee from one of the founders of Wham-O with a personal message “Keep on Flying”
